Frontlit (frontlight)
A type of advertising carrier lit from the front side (the printed side) with either daylight or artificial light. It is made of vinyl-coated polyester fabrics. Extremaly high tear resistance. Designed for single-sided printing.
Backlit (backlight)
Backlight is made of special translucent vinyl-coated polyester fabrics having light diffusion properties. Designed for the “back” illumination, during the day it preserves the visual characteristics of frontlight. Double-sided print guarantees very intensive colour saturation when backlit. With appropriate projects it is possible to achieve the day/night effect –the front scene which is visible during the day changes when the frontlights are turned down and the backlights are turned up, and then the night scene with additional elements phases in. Backlights can be bonded into the larger surfaces with the use of special heat-seals – invisible when backlit.
Blockout
Used for both indoor and outdoor applications where graphic is double-sided and banner opacity is needed. It can also be used for room darkening in hotels and offices.
Mesh
Designed for large and very large advertising surfaces (several hundred up to several thousand square metres). Ideal for applications where the banner's construction elements are not durable enough to use full structure of the carrier or where wind may be a damage factor. Well suited for protective barriers for scaffolding. Mesh comes in a variety of densities to meet client's specific application requirements.
Blueback
Billboard paper used for outside applications. It is blue-backed for no show-through over the previously applied advertising layers.
Whiteback
Paper used for both backlit and frontlit outdoor displays. Best suited for all kinds of commercial and exhibition premises.
